From Whom All Blossoms Flow
Daily Post: Blossom
This image was captured in August, on a cool 70 degree afternoon, during my first visit to Breckenridge, Colorado. In those few days, the two of us just enjoying the late summer weather of the Rocky Mountains, my senses were heightened to color, sights, and sounds, unlike any other time in my life. Remembering the exhilaration and sense of wholeness in every stream and blossom, even now, some part of me is still there. Repeating often, spoken aloud or whispered in my own thoughts, I shouted or sang, “Thank you God, for Your marvelous creation.”
Whether standing on the tee box, or just leaning on the balcony of our room watching the late afternoon rain cleanse the earth, I was reminded of God’s great love offered to me in grace. In those moments I felt clean again. Loved again. Forgiven, and restored in purpose and meaning, again. My soul sang out, over and over…
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly hosts;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!
Praise God the Father who’s the source;
Praise God the Son who is the course;
Praise God the Spirit who’s the flow;
Praise God, our portion here below!
Today I encourage you to see God in the blossoms around you; in life, in love, in relationships, in grace… and sing His praise, to His glory. Praise God from whom all blossoms flow!
Psalm 47:6
Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
